The Chattanooga National Park City campaign aims to celebrate and preserve the unique aspects of Chattanooga and the Tennessee River Valley through a community-driven effort. The movement aligns with the idea of protecting valuable resources for future generations.

We hope to see you on Wednesday, July 10th at green|spaces to hear Brian Smith, Communications and Marketing Director at Chattanooga Parks and Outdoors, dive deeper into our journey to become the first National Park City in North America by 2025.

About Our Speaker, Brian Smith:

Longtime lover of nature from being an Eagle Scout to a meteorologist for over 20 years. Currently, Brian is serving as communications and marketing director for Chattanooga Parks and Outdoors, a relatively new department that features parks, recreation, Outdoor Chattanooga, special events, public art and natural resources. Brian's main mission is to educate and showcase what our city has and the hard workers who provide joy daily to our lives.
