Rosy Harpe obtained an Ecology and Evolutionary Biology degree with honors from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville and returned to her roots in Chattanooga to pursue work in the conservation field. She has worked for WaterWays', a local water quality non-profit, for the last 4.5 years, and is now their Sustainable Landscape Ecologist. She coordinates stormwater-focused community events, green infrastructure education, and a native plant rescue program called Wild Plant Rescue. She also owns a business with her partner called Clary Environmental, where they specialize in native plant landscape design and low-impact stormwater management + general garden consultation. She could talk all day about native plants, mushroom foraging and all things stormwater!
