Elemi's Green Mission Statement:

At Elemi, we believe in the environmental and social value of good design and that maintaining and encouraging density in existing downtown areas are integral to the environmental, social, and economic sustainability of a city. We take pride in the focus of our core work remaining urban and diverse. Furthermore, Elemi affirms that the primary means to sustaining our shared resources is to reuse our existing urban cores and their built forms. We extend these values to the scale of our own office by conserving energy, water, and materials and fostering a positive physical and social office environment to help our team thrive. Happy and healthy people do great work and help make great cities.

Elemi Architecture is a focused, design-led firm providing full-service architecture, planning, and urban design to clients who seek a thorough, forward-thinking solution to help guide their efforts.

Elemi was founded in 2006 by architect, urban designer, and LEED® Accredited Professional Eric Myers. Eric has a broad ranging background and breadth of experience in Chattanooga and the Southeast. Myers believes that the primary means to sustaining our shared resources is to reuse our existing urban cores and their built forms. He has been involved in the continual evolution of downtowns of various scales in Tennessee, Georgia, and Alabama, beginning in the mid-1990s. His contributions to architecture and urbanism range from streetscape and infrastructure sustainability strategies to small, single-family urban infill housing. Myers has been actively engaged in architecture and urban design in Chattanooga for over fifteen years, and is proud that the majority of this work has been within three zip codes. Eric offers clients the experience in urban development that covers the breadth and length of decades of understanding urban form and negotiating barriers to achieve complex programs.
